Couldnt update yesterday because of my arsewipe brother.
My ST Level made significant progress - shouldnt be long now - im where i wanted to be last Saturday.
I went to the Gym a few hours ago - the usual tedious stuff. And I just got back from Terminator 3!!! whootages! So now is my Completley bias Review of:
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
Firstly: Its a 12a rating - WHAT!!! in theory youd need to be at least 18&15 to see the last 2 inorder for things to make sense... and if youd seen them before you should care! Stop selling out!
Secondly: No James Cameron!
1) Why does Arnie have to be made funny?
2) Arnie is not the same cyborg as in T2 so why does he check the sunshade of the car for the keys before attemping hotwiring? If you recall T2 he is taught this by John Connor.
3) Talking of John Connor - he doesnt seem like the sort of bloke who is going to lead mankind against the machines. John = Drip. Also you see Future Johm in T2 and he at least looks like a hardcase.
4) Which is better a liquid metal robot who can take any shape - or a liquid metal Covered Endoskeleton who cant take anyshape.
5) Particle Accelerators dont work like that - Im not even going to go into that.
6) John Connor is in close contect to 2 nuclear explosions - Hes had enough radiation to command mankind......
7) If a car is remoted controlled - why does the Accelerator pedel go down?
8) If Arnie is being remote controlled why is he able to fight them.... Whats with the Fit of Rage?
9) SkyNet is powerful enough to take over large parts of the internet.... why did it have to wait for a Human to Press "Y"?
10) The TX should have given SkyNet its Future, and more upto date Database - it would have been useful for SkyNet to know its future.
11) The first 2 films are about how Fate is not decided for us. This film contradicts it by saying tough luck wars happening anyway.
12) Not sure about the Head Tilting thing when the TX is processing - do Robots really need to do that?
13) Whats with the time travelling blob thing? T2 made it look like a big gapping gap of space time had been replaced instantaneously -- Remember the Side of the truck in T2 just disappearing?
14) Little too much time on the shades.
15) Why do Cyborgs have testicles? -- Dont say its to assist them with Covert assassination missions because its quiet easy to tell if its a cyborg the whole thin layer of skin thing.
16) The T1s seem rather good for a first Terminator - if i ever have to make a human killing machine then dont let me stick all the important components in its head.
17) Okay hes now got a love interest - but what about all those other future leiutenants that are out in bomb blasts?
18) Nuclear bombs cause EMP blasts and that isnt good for the Internet/CyberSpace or anything Electrical for that matter- if its Skynet's home shouldnt it be more careful?
19) We didnt need to see The Doctor from T2 have an episode at the Cemetary its quite uncessary really!
20)I heard rescently that the scene where The T-X appears was filmed last because the roads could not be closed for filming - if this is true then one of these 2 things are also true: 1) She wasnt naked and she was wearing some kind of GreenScreen suit that was filled in later or...2) We all missed a good chance of seeing a Super model naked (and the possibility of being in T3)!
Ill probably think of some other stuff as time goes on. But generally i thought it was a good film and didnt waste too much time on details and it kept moving. It is unfortunatley not Violent enough. So as with all film sequals are not as good as the last ones. Although the Terminator series is still good.
Im awaiting T4: Arnie has a heart-by-pass and then the DVD with extra Hip replacement footage!
